Ear Accupuncture & Seeding With Jenny Branco Wellness

We are so excited to kick off our Mayfair Wellness Series with a truly unique and relaxing experience right here in the Hillcrest Village Clubhouse. Join us for an evening of ear acupuncture and ear seeding.

Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted, wired-but-tired, struggling with sleep, tension, headaches, digestion, hormone changes, or simply feeling "off" in your body?

Join Jenny Branco, BSN, RN, IHP, AAT, for a deeply restorative wellness experience designed to help your body shift out of stress mode and into a calmer, more regulated state. Ear acupuncture uses specific points on the ear to communicate directly with the nervous system, helping the body release tension, improve resilience to stress, support emotional balance, and promote a greater sense of calm and well-being. Many participants notice softer muscles, deeper breathing, a quieter mind, improved mood, and better sleep following treatment.

In addition to full ear acupuncture sessions, attendees will also have the option to receive customized ear seeds. Ear seeds are tiny beads placed on specific points of the ear that continue providing gentle stimulation for several days after your visit. With more than 200 points available on the ear, protocols can be tailored to support concerns such as stress, sleep, energy, cravings, digestion, headaches, neck and shoulder tension, emotional balance, focus, hormonal symptoms, and more.

Jenny combines her background in conventional healthcare, Functional Medicine, and nervous system-focused wellness to create personalized experiences that help clients feel supported, cared for, and empowered in their healing journey.

Residents and their friends and family are welcome to choose from two options:

Ear Acupuncture + Ear Seeding — $75 per person (limited to 11 participants, begins at 6:30 PM)

Ear Seeding Only — $35 per person (no limit, begins at 7:00 PM)

Whether you're looking for a moment of calm, relief from persistent symptoms, or a simple way to support your overall wellbeing, this is an experience you won't want to miss.

The Great Gatsby

Get ready to step back into the glamour and excess of the Jazz Age! The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical The Great Gatsby is coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center, and it promises to be an unforgettable night of theater.

Based on the classic American novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, this stunning new musical takes audiences on an unforgettable journey of love, wealth, and tragedy, bringing the Roaring Twenties to life on stage. Directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), the production features choreography by Dominique Kelley (So You Think You Can Dance), a book by Kait Kerrigan, and a jazz- and pop-influenced original score by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen.

This Broadway extravaganza explodes with life and energy — a spectacle of dazzling costumes, electrifying performances, and a score that will have you on your feet. Whether you're a longtime fan of Fitzgerald's novel or new to the story, this production is not to be missed. Friends and family are welcome, so bring the whole crew!

Game Night

Get ready for some friendly competition and good company at our new resident event, Game Night! This casual, resident-driven gathering is all about connecting with your neighbors over a little fun and a little friendly rivalry. Feel free to bring your favorite board game or card game to share, but don't worry if you don't have one on hand — there will always be plenty of options to choose from. No signups, no pressure, just show up, pull up a chair, and enjoy the evening. Snacks and drinks are welcome, so bring along whatever you're craving to munch on or sip while you play.

Game Night will be held bi-monthly on the third Friday of the month, with our first session kicking off on Friday, November 20th at 6:30 PM in the Hillcrest Village Clubhouse. All Mayfair residents are welcome to join, regardless of which community you call home. We can't wait to see you there!

'Twas The Night Before...

The Mayfair Mavericks are heading to the Providence Performing Arts Center for a truly magical holiday evening — and this one is extra special! 'Twas the Night Before… marks Cirque du Soleil's very first appearance at PPAC, and we are thrilled to be attending!

The show follows young Isabella, who begins to feel like she has outgrown her cherished family Christmas tradition. What follows is a breathtaking journey as the beloved poem "A Visit from Saint Nicholas" springs to life in a dazzling mix of acrobatics, high-energy dance, and heartwarming holiday cheer — from mesmerizing aerial acts and daring hoop diving to gravity-defying hair suspension. The production features a cast of 26 artists from around the world, alongside a soundtrack of Christmas favorites reimagined by Cirque du Soleil.

Mayfair Book Club

Our next Mayfair Book Club meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Putnam Village Clubhouse. We’ll be discussing Heart of a Stranger: An Unlikely Rabbi’s Story of Faith, Identity, and Belonging by Angela Buchdahl. New members are always welcome! If this will be your first meeting, please call the office to let us know you’ll be joining us.

Mayfair Community Potluck

Our last Community Potluck didn't quite have the turnout we had hoped for, but we're not ready to throw in the towel just yet! We're giving it one more try, on December 18^th, and would love to see more residents come out and join the fun! These resident-driven gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to meet neighbors, share delicious food, and enjoy an evening of good company. All Mayfair residents are welcome, regardless of which property you call home!

Simply bring a dish to share, along with your own plates, utensils, and anything needed to serve your contribution. Homemade or store-bought, all dishes are welcome! No sign-up required — just show up! We hope you'll help us give this event the second chance it deserves. After all, the more neighbors who participate, the more fun we'll have!

Parker's Maple Barn & Averill House Winery

After a long New England winter, what better way to welcome spring than with a delightful day trip to beautiful New Hampshire? Join the Mayfair Mavericks as we trade the winter blues for a day filled with delicious food, a little shopping, wine tasting, and wonderful company! It's the perfect opportunity to get out, enjoy a change of scenery, and spend a fun-filled day with friends and neighbors.

Our first stop is Parker's Maple Barn in Mason, New Hampshire, where we'll enjoy a delicious, hearty brunch featuring fresh maple syrup, maple ham, pancakes, eggs, and more! Known for its charming country atmosphere and delicious maple specialties, Parker's is a wonderful place to experience a true taste of New England. After brunch, we'll have time to browse their country store, where you can shop for maple treats and other goodies to bring home.

Next, we'll head to Averill House Vineyard in Brookline, New Hampshire, a family-owned winery nestled in a beautifully restored 1830s barn. Here, we'll enjoy a tour and wine tasting while learning about the winery and sampling some of its offerings. It's a lovely way to spend a spring afternoon before heading home!
