With over 100 acres, the Comcast Center is one of the world's leading open air amphitheatres. It has a seating capacity of 19,900. Over 750,000 music lovers visit the facility during the operating season of mid-May to late September. Classical, pop and rock performers are featured regularly. Past performers have included the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Eric Clapton, James Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
